  Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia          Alzheimer's disease is a progressive and degenerative brain disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. It is the most common cause of dementia that is characterized by a decline in cognitive abilities, including memory, language, reasoning, and judgment.
